On Saturday at Gen Con I got to play The Sprawl in the morning and The Veil in the afternoon so an awesome day of PbTA cyberpunk goodness! Had a great time playing both and it was cool to play back to back the very different approaches to the genre using AW. Was surprised how well states worked out even though my fellow The Veil players were coming from a more trad RPG background.

I saw Veil being run at Games on Demand but neither session ended up working out for me or my group. I was motivated to buy the book, though, so there is that.

Steve Moore I lucked out, arrived too late to get a boarding pass but a kind soul just gave me his and it was called third. Went straight to The Veil and chose it. A group of four friends then joined the game.

Fraser Simons I forget the MCs name, I believe it was his own scenario. We were all previous backed up, died on a retrieval mission and then had to redo the mission and hopefully not die this time. Played the Honorbound, found out a peaceful sniper works pretty well in The Veil. MC worked in my giri assignment into the final twist.
That sounds great! Yeah I think it does look intimidating at first and in short term play I strip it down some. I’m glad you have a positive experience and that sounds like a fun scenario!
