I ran this as my first MotW Mystery with my usual D&D group and they seemed to really like it! I made a small change to the basic premise to create a larger Arc hook: ZRW is behind Gabriel’s accident, a byproduct of their experimentation with weaving particular strings of occult magic into the code of their various platforms and technologies. Gabriel’s soul is ensnared by the code and his corrupted techno-gheist spirit travels to the ZRW regional server where he finds a juicy cache of files detailing summoning rituals and other occult magic…
