A Russian witch will mess you up.

A Russian witch will mess you up.

A Russian witch will mess you up. I’m working on a supplement! It will first appear as a stretch goal for the Gauntlet Kickstarter (happening now)…it is all about religion and folk magic, two things no self-respecting Soviet airwoman has any time for. I think it will make the game awful in a totally new way.

  1. Todd Zircher actually, that is happening in another ongoing Kickstarter LOSELY based on AW. 😂 I love gonzo anime style games, let’s see what they pull out of that hat!

(no direct references in the Jason’s channel, of course).

  2. From the supplement: “Magic isn’t real, past or present, and the spells and charms represented here have precisely as much potency as their targets believe they do. A zealous scientific atheist will laugh off a curse, while a credulous believer will be stricken by it. If you believe you are lucky or blessed, you’ll act that way, and things will go well for you as a result, and you will attribute it to magic. A character played as a strident atheist – one who still carries her League of Militant Godless card – should be immune to witchcraft, beneficial or perverse. For these rare women, treat klikushestvo as what it actually is – poisoning.

If you play Night Witches as though magic is real – as though supernatural forces exist and spells have real, extra-worldly potency – nobody can stop you, but you are doing it wrong and it will mess up your game in unsatisfying ways.”
