So the Vessel’s playbook under their gear says “A clumsy, but effective weapon (3-harm hand/close)” but provides no examples. Does anyone have an ideas?

I don’t remember if it is discussed in the rulebook, (if someone knows a page number I’d love one) but what are thoughts on the players seeing the Legwork, Action, and Corp clocks? Do you let your players see it? Or do you hide the information?

Obviously fictionally things may change when the clock advances that may tell the players something is up.

Let’s say you are starting a campaign and one player wants to play a driver.

Let’s say you are starting a campaign and one player wants to play a driver.

Let’s say you are starting a campaign and one player wants to play a driver. How can you keep the driver engaging for entire campaign? There are only so many missions that can end up with high speed chases or interceptions or extractions. Any advice?

How do people think the Sprawl would handle a rotating cast of characters?

How do people think the Sprawl would handle a rotating cast of characters? For example let’s say I had 8 players but not all them can play every Friday night. But some can and the player count never exceeds the maximum for the game at 5.

Do you all think this could work?

This may be semantics but the Drone section under armed says “Armed: a weapon can be mounted on the drone.

This may be semantics but the Drone section under armed says “Armed: a weapon can be mounted on the drone.

This may be semantics but the Drone section under armed says “Armed: a weapon can be mounted on the drone. The weapon’s size is determined by the size of the frame.” Does that mean the drone comes with a weapon or the drone has the potential to have a weapon on it?

I am getting ready to run Urban Shadows and need some stuff as inspiration! I don’t have time to start any new books however I do have time to read comics! Urban Shadows Comic fans: what do you think are some comics that portay the Urban Shadows feel the best?

I come bearing more questions: one of my players want to go to the library and look something up.

I come bearing more questions: one of my players want to go to the library and look something up. How should I handle this? Should I develop a custom move? Modify the Chosen’s book move? How would you handle this in your game?

I’ve recently started a new monsterhearts game with only two players over Hangouts.

I’ve recently started a new monsterhearts game with only two players over Hangouts. Now one of my players mentioned that one of their friends may be interested in joining the game and the other mentioned this as well.  I have no problem with this however what I would like is some advice.

Adding new characters can sometimes grind the events of the game to a stop especially if that person is unfamiliar to the story or game. How have you handled the addition of a new player or players into a already ongoing game? How do you fictionally add new supernatural students into the game suddenly? I assume that depending on the skins that is how they would fit however that can only go so far. That also brings up I’m not allowing the Chosen as a skin for that reason as a choice because that would sink whatever ship the players are on.

To reiterate my questions: How have you handled the addition of a new player or players into a already ongoing game? How do you fictionally add new supernatural students into the game suddenly?

Does anyone have any general advice?
