I was curious, how is it that more conditions makes a villain more dangerous?

Tonight’s episode of East Coast Wrestling featured smack talk between Terrible Tyrone, Furiosa, and the Penultimate Mohican. Along side newcomer Super X, we had a hell of a bout that led up to a King of the Hill and a new romance.
Segment One: Furiosa gets off her big rig and is attacked in a savage beat down by Iron Irene and her fellow Communist gang. She rolls a 10+ on Are you Not Entertained and takes the beating like a champ.
Segment Two: Tyrone calls out Penultimate Mohican for his cheap shot last time. Penultimate shows up to challenge Tyrone and Furiosa to a hardcore cage match. They accept.
Match One: The Kat vs Iron Irene – The Kat ends up losing this match. Terrible Tyrone takes the moment to cut a promo asking the audience of West Virginia to not lose faith in The Kat and to admit that he thinks she’s kinda cute.
Segment Three: A cut to Mohican as he loads up his attire with metal plates to prepare to cheat to win his hardcore match tonight.
Match Two: Super X vs Dr. Monroe – A ladder money in the bank match over the secrets to Dr. Monroe’s science goo. Super X wins it and it cuts to commercial right before she can reveal what was inside the mysterious brief case. When interviewed, she merely giggles.
Segment Four: Everyone is interviewed asking what they think is inside the case. Guesses range from “Kinky sex thing” to Furiosa promising that if it’s something terrible that she’ll take him down.
Match Three: Hardcore Hell in a Cell match with Penultimate Mohican vs the team of Terrible Tyrone and Furiosa – A grueling match that wore down everyone involved. People bled and took injuries, but ultimately Penultimate used Furiosa’s weapons against her and Tyrone and managed to climb over the ring to claim the win.
Segment Five: Off camera segment as it’s revealed that managements favorite “Princess Sayuri” was allowed into the journeyman’s cup tournament and was booked to win the match. The players all agree to knock her out no matter what.
Final Match: King of the Hill – Princess Sayuri is knocked out first by the teamwork of Penultimate Mohican and Furiosa. But Mohican uses the chance to knock Furiosa out of the ring. A botch by Super X caused Princess Sayuri to cheat and cause her to get knocked over the top rope. Terrible Tyrone and The Cat knock out all other opponents when it’s revealed that Terrible Tyrone is in love with The Kat and wants to crown her as Queen of the Hill and join her in a tag team to take on the Tag Team Champs.

The Kat agrees and we have a new tag team and Terrible Tyrone will return, losing the Wasted gimmick and getting off the drugs to become a High Flyer.
What an awesome night!

So I had an idea for a segment for the next episode where two players get to compete on Not-Weakest-Link and I’m creating custom moves. The idea I had was that you’d roll +Real when answering as the person, +Look when answering as your character, and +Heat when insulting another competitor. I figure that I’d have it be a countdown situation like in King of the Hill with only 5 counts as a training video for the King of the Hill I plan to have to close the episode.
Here’s my prototype.
At the start of the Quiz Show, a timer is set to 5.
When you answer a question as the real person instead of the character; Roll +Real. If you are answering a question as your character instead roll +Look
10+ Pick 1
-Gain 2 points and pass control
-Maintain Control
7-9; Creative lowers the time count by 1. Pick 1
-Gain 1 point and pass control
-Maintain Control
Botch: You answered the question incorrectly and have been eliminated.
When you crack a joke at a wrestler’s expense; Roll +Work
10+; Gain +1 Heat with the target of your joke and you maintain control. Control must be passed before you can crack another joke.
7-9; Pick 1,
-Gain +1 Heat with the target of your joke and you get eliminated for not answering a question (Maybe you were too busy laughing)
-Give someone +1 Heat with you and pass control.
Botch: The joke went a bit too far and someone isn’t happy about it.
At the end of the show, when the count is at 0 or all other PWs are eliminated, anyone remaining gains +1 Momentum. The Winner gains +2 Momentum or +1 Audience.

Just did character creation and a short series of exhibition matches.
The Hardcore Furiosa won her Squash match against Iron Irene a Jobber (NPW) with a throwback USSR gimmick.
In a grudge match Terrible Tyrone Biggins (PW – Wasted gimmick) defeated his former mentor, The Penultimate Mohican (PW – Veteran Gimmick).
We had a good time with over the top descriptions, but it seems like The Hardcore is disappointed she didn’t get to 4 Audience tonight. So I’m going to have to get her heat with Iron Irene to 4 and put her in a match. She did an awesome thing where she cut off her show closing promo by unplugging the Titan Tron on live TV.
So, any suggestions on putting The Hardcore over or should I mix up the rivalries so she’s playing with a PW next week?
I picked up this game and can’t wait to run it for my players, hopefully this weekend.
I picked up this game and can’t wait to run it for my players, hopefully this weekend. I did have a question about the roles. What is a provocateur and what examples are there of one? I am thinking that Donk is a good example of a Clown.
