I’m running a 2nd Ed. playtest-rules game via Discord that is currently at 3 players, so we’re looking for about 2 more. We play Tuesday nights at 7:30pm US Pacific Time (GMT -8, I think). Current families are the Guilded Company, Enclave, and Uplifted Children, game tone is Mirrors so all are welcome. We’ve gotten a start but haven’t hit a turning of the age yet, so there’s still plenty of opportunity to make a mark on the game.

Anyone else have a problem with the new playbooks not printing properly?

Anyone else have a problem with the new playbooks not printing properly? I ran a test run and half the headings and stat words are missing on the print.

Is there a printer friendly version yet?

Starting a new game tomorrow, our first Legacy or PbtA (I’ve played PbtA, but nobody else has).

So, I’m wondering what playbooks should be allowed. The 7 options for Ruins characters are fine, but there are only 3 Ruins families. We have 4 players.

How should we handle this?

Our Homeland is on Earth after aliens came to enslave the human race. Another alien race tried to stop the slavers, and their war altered the Earth, creating The Wasteland. The PCs are descendants of those who survived and were not taken.

I fear that it will take away specialisation options from players and leave them with little chances to change up their characters’ equipment to suit a mission’s needs.

I can’t find any advice about making communities in the 1.5.1 PDF, but I could have sworn I saw something previously?

I can’t find any advice about making communities in the 1.5.1 PDF, but I could have sworn I saw something previously? Maybe I’m imagining things! All I can find is the short text on the Homeland map sheet, but I’m unclear if “unique resource/advantage” is meant to refer to a surplus controlled by the community, or if it’s just “make up a cool thing.”

Any thoughts or advice on how I should be addressing the prompts for placing Communities on the map? Am I missing something obvious in the rules (probably!)?
