So as I mentioned some time ago I’m thinking of doing another Play by Post Masks game on Giants in the Playground. This time it’s in the new nation of Avalon and Millennium City, an island nation for Metahumans by Metahumans. I’m looking for five people and by merit of it being on Giants in the Playgound it’s open to everyone. It won’t be first come first serve so feel free to pitch an idea. You will have to make an account however.

Alright, I need to try running this game again now that I can use the whole book as a reference.
So, I’m planning on having 3-4 players in 3-4 hour sessions of Masks for an undetermined campaign length (hopefully at least 10). The game would either be on Tuesdays or Thursdays, at more or less any reasonable waking time. I’m thinking Thursdays around 12 PM Central Time, but could start as late as 8 PM Central Time. The only playbooks immediately not on offer are the Delinquent and the Doomed.
I’m seeking some players who are primarily interested in grand, cartoonish, dramatic interaction with the fiction. High tolerance for the potentially silly is a must, as the “Tales to Astonish” section of the book essentially points out. Some darker moments will occasionally arise, but I’m looking to keep this campaign pretty light-hearted.

Well I should have my physical copy of Masks by Thursday and I’m slowly reading the PDF in the meantime, but I think I’ve settled on trying to run a supernatural themed game (think Hellboy* crossed with Young Justice).
It’d be voice chat over Discord, rolling in Discord, and only using the core playbooks. I’m on EST and it would need to be on a weekday (Mon – Thur) after 5pm and no later than midnight.

Well I just finished my first run as a GM of this game on roll20 and it was really fun.
Well I just finished my first run as a GM of this game on roll20 and it was really fun. One thing I did realize is that with 3 people it feels like a bit too few people for the game. especially when linking relationships and such. It still is a really fun system, the players and I really enjoyed it.
I do have openings in the game if you are a part of roll20 look for a masks game on 4/27 at 8pm est. We have a bull, protégé and legacy character right now but all the other playbooks are available.

I’m looking for people interested in creating a west marches-esque group.
For those not familiar with the concept, the structure would consist of a loose group of individuals, and when enough people find they have time, they sit together and have an adventure of some sorts together, meaning there are no strict constellations of players.
I think that kind of system can easily work for Masks, and I’m just looking for people willing to give it a try.
The setting that would allow people to slide in and out of commission is still in its infancy, but for now, all player characters are part of a school for fledgling supers, getting guidance from more established heroes and growing into their own. If you’re thinking along the lines of Xavier’s school for gifted youngsters, or U. A. High school from My Hero Academia, you’re in the right ballpark.
Since this is such a loose structure, anyone is welcome to join, no matter their circumstances, although a European timezone would be favorable.
We’re using discord for VOIP and roll20 to both play and file information.
