The Monstrous and a couple of other Playbooks have unstated Moves giving them +1 to their traits (Weird for Monstrous).
When you shift Playbooks are those unstated moves picked up? And can we get a list of which Playbooks have those unstated moves?

Just for the hell of it: http://thrythlind.blogspot.com/2015/09/urban-fantasy-crossover-scenario.html
I say on that post that it’s too late to run this scenario this weekend, but it is conceivable that I could run this Friday 11pm to 4am my time (9am to 2pm Friday CST).
I could also try to run this Friday after this one since I’m already running 9 one-shots from the 18th to the 23rd.
The specific scenario would depend on just what characters are involved but it would be a cross-reality apocalypse prevention thing.
For no particular reason I added images to the roles for the Tournament of Fate one-shot.

On the Tournament of Fate one-shot, I have decided that the Wielder is NOT going to be a required role.

Of course if no one decides to be the Wielder that means all five artifacts fell into the hands of other people/things and your group has failed to get a hold of one (or lost theirs) to this point.

So my brother’s Shadowrun campaign has been stretched past his planned completion due to work schedules and such, so I’m still prepping for my MotW campaign.
Since they originally said they wanted something like X-Com I’ve done up a list of 100 prefixes and 100 suffixes with which to create random operation names similar to X-Com Enemy Within.
For further fun I’ve attached situational complications to each prefix and a significant person, place or group to each suffix as ways to add a bit of extra color to my plans.
The first session is set to be Operation Subtle Mason.
The base idea is that magical/temporal fluctuations going on have brought a nest of stirges into the area which are just about to hatch.
The location is this abandoned mining town that was left sitting since the 80’s after financial situations shut it down. (Based on a real life Canadian town).
The players are going to be sent to investigate the location for “reasons” (one of the troubles they selected for the M-Com agency is cryptic missions but the agency has good intel.)
I was originally going to have the trouble just starting with mysterious attacks and caretakers of the property being put comatose by stirge attacks, Then I rolled the operation name and looked at the situation and person the name indicated.
Subtle – the situation has been engineered.
Mason – a visionary of some sort is involved.
Recently, the Canadian ghost town I’m basing this on was purchased by a entrepreneur who wants to use it for some reason. There’s my visionary.
And I figure M-Com wants the site for its isolation and presence at the site of a temporal/dimensional anomaly. So the anomaly was deliberately tweaked to bring something over which would cause enough problem for the entrepreneur to be pressured into selling and leaving the organization with a new base including facilities and living quarters in good condition.
So the players are getting sent to investigate before the trouble has happened now.
Now all we have to do is get past these last couple of Shadowrun missions.
Would anyone be able to point me to some good MotW Actual Plays? Writeups, recorded hangouts, podcasts, etc.

I’m hoping to run MotW for Chicago Gameday 42 and am doing research. Thanks in advance!

Help me put together a team of monster hunters drawn from popular media
I was thinking about the Spell-Slinger from Monster of the Week on the train to work this morning, and how its inspiration was Harry Dresden. That, in turn, made me think about the archetypes for the other playbooks, and how it might be cool to do a one-shot where you create a team of cross-universe all-stars to fight some uber Big Bad.
So far I was thinking:
• Harry Dresden (Spell-Slinger)
• Buffy Summers (Chosen)
…but I need two more, three at most.
Candidates I have been considering include: Blade, Mulder and/or Scully, and Hellboy.
The goal is to create a well-rounded team that allows the players to indulge in crossover fanfic genre celebration. That means that no two members can be from he same media property. I also may veto candidates from properties with which I am not familiar, since I need to do chargen.
I also want to make sure there is at least one more female character on the team.

Okay, how to handle the playbooks for online gaming.
Okay, how to handle the playbooks for online gaming.
Currently I’m thinking about making individual pages for the page books which I will only have include the full stats for the event itself and then will have the stats taken down after the event is over. Otherwise it will have a general description of the playbook.
Is there any other suggestion?

Other Games/Scenarios
Gods and Monsters – Fate Core Game – (Characters are Gods in the early days of the world)
Venture City – Fate Core Game (Superheroes with a Shadowrun vibe)
Divine Blood RPG – Day at the Fair (Comedy/Civilian Scenario)
Urban Shadows – Powered by the Apocalypse
My Zodiacs setting – Use Fate Core (Heroic Fantasy with cowboys, samurai, witches, vikings, mongols and other such things)
I considered HERO, BESM or Mutants and Masterminds; but I’d need to make Pre-Gens for those and it’s really short notice. Maybe next time.
I’m not comfortable doing 5e because I only have the PHB.
My average online one-shots run 3 to 5 hours, but my convention slots are planned for five hours so that’s what I’m basing this around.
