Hamish Cameron I just noticed the Black ICE option that does harm to a jacked in hacker has +AP. Wouldn’t that make the 1 Armor from Neural Scars useless? I don’t see another way for Black ICE to do damage to a Hacker.
I think I saw this one reported elsewhere, but top of page 127, there’s a spelling error: should be “aquatic.”

So, as everyone else here I guess, I am reading the game.
So, as everyone else here I guess, I am reading the game. It is totally AWESOME ! It has been a while since a game had my imagination flared up as much.
I guess there is a typo concerning the Black Ice move ‘Identify an Intruder’. Shouldn’t it be ‘Advance Corporate Clock’ instead of mission ?

Gianni Milonogiannis, Old City Blues, & Inspiration Artwork
I was going through old links and finally downloaded a few sketchbook Gianni Milonogiannis had put up on tumblr and it occurred to me he’d be perfect inspiration for a Sprawl campaign.
He’s the author & artist for Old City Blues, which is a classic cyberpunk manga set in New Athens, and he’s also been doing great work with Brandon Graham on Prophet lately.
But anyway, his style feels very classic anime/manga to me, but with a modern sketchiness to it, at least to me.
Old City Blues is online at http://milonogiannis.com/OCB/ and the sketchbook I mentioned is available at http://milonogiannis.tumblr.com/post/77799112922/hey-guys-heres-a-little-pdf-collecting-odds-and
Lots of great gems in there. Enjoy!

I’m wondering about when to bring in certain directives, especially those that might reference people and organizations outside the group, like Network, Intimate, or Protective, among others.
A lot of the structure of The Sprawl seems to be designed to encourage a tight focus on the mission at hand, with some relatively quick legwork beforehand.
Is it fair game to come at the PC’s with their chosen obligations as moves during the legwork phase, when it’ll draw them away from the main group?
Related question, does any part of a session take place outside of the relatively rigid mission structure? If players wanted to stock up on supplies, or chase down personal stuff from their directives before they “get the job”, how would you run that?

Might I suggest a section in this community such as “Looking for a Mark” or “Nameless Client Has a Job For You”. Name it as you please…
