At the beginning of the campaign the vamp doesn’t have anyone in their web, am I right?

I wasn’t able to find anything about this on the manual, but it seems logical to have some sort of support since the beginning.

They are marked by your faith.

I’m not sure why that’s a negative. What does being marked by faith entail-other people know you helped them? Are they considered part of your flock, that you can cash debts on them?

Hello everyone. So, reading the final version (I have played US when it was still in developpement), and I love it so far.

But there is still a playbook I can’t wrap my mind around : The Vamp. To be more specific, I don’t really get what the Web is about, what it may refer to in the fiction. 

Could you please help me understand it by showing me how this move would work in Dracula, True Blood etc. ?
