Cody Broussard, I know you mentioned you were interested in writing some stuff for Changeling, but I am curious which one. I am guess Changeling the Dreaming over Changeling the Lost, but I want to make sure.

Here is why I ask! If you are doing Changeling the Dreaming, then we can use the current Fae book as the premise and as we did with the other books, setup and tack on all the extras to guide the book and the players toward a WoD style. So, the book is done and once we chat, you are golden to start.

If you are instead going with Changeling the Lost, I will need to coerce Andrew Medeiros to write me some kind of Doppleganger/polymorph character as I mentioned in the events thread as CtL is based around people being stolen and altered by beings/aliens, ect and then put back in society (sometimes minutes, sometimes years passing) all while a Doppleganger is living your life. Then after that, you can start from there?

Point being, which one?

Question on gangs that Steve Moore and I were having during a game on Wednesday. When I am running a player and his gang, do I roll them as 1 if they are using the same move? Do I use the player’s stats for both?

What about if they are doing something different? Say one is sneaking and the other is attacking.

What happens if one of gang members turns against the players? Like in Pack Alpha.

Those looking for a Mass Effect game, here is what I designed for Matthew Skau.

Not as fancy as what I usually do, but it it put everything into one nice clean, consistent form.

Ran the first play test tonight with Anton Dominic, Steve Moore, and John Layton with an appearance of Andrew Medeiros. Game went rather well, we have lots of work to do, and a lot done!

Move of the night! Steve Moore’s Werewolf attacks a local gang in a park, racing his bike through the middle of their group to scatter them out. As he rushes through, he is forced to make a choice to either wreck his bike or run over a 6 year old blowing out her birthday cake. What do you think he did? Well, at least he manned up and marked corruption.

Andrew Medeiros, Why “Threaten an NPC” rather than a general “Threaten” move where it can be used on PC’s as well.

Wouldn’t it just be a slightly different mechanic, but under the same header? The only difference is if the player listens, they get XP?

The second I finished reading through US a few months ago, I felt that I had finally found the great starting point for having the WoD fix that I wanted in an AW gaming mechanic.

A few weeks ago, I began writing an Add-On for US adding many of the WoD clans, tribes, orders and creeds. Along the way, I have picked up a great team of Anton Dominic, John Layton, and Steve Moore in writing material for FOUR WoD books, currently we have the Vamp (Vampire the Masquerade,) the Wizard (Mage the Awakening,) the Wolf (Werewolf the Forsaken,) and the Hunter (Hunter the Vigil.)

This is our first draft write up, as you will see not quite complete, but I would love feedback from both WoD fans, US, fans and AW fans. Any advice would be great, there is a lot of material here. We are starting play test on it next week and will keep you informed of how it goes.

If any of you want to playtest this as well, that would be awesome and would love feedback, videos, ect…

Any feedback is noteworthy. You think a clan is represented? Tell us! You don’t like a move? Tell us! You have a great idea for a move? Tell us!

Question: What do you guys do as MC’s/GM’s to break that habit to let go and let the players be a larger part of the game?

It is the one thing I have had an issue with, years planning every event and setting up adjectives for places, people and creatures.
