Two of the scenarios are MotW scenarios, they should be the 5th and 6th scenario videos on the playlist.

So, experimenting a little bit. I did a video update for where things stand on planning for my summer one-shot events:

I wanted to share a fun moment from my last session.

I wanted to share a fun moment from my last session. The previous session my player playing The Divine couldn’t make it. And the next session I introduced two new players. So I threw out the idea that the new players, A Wronged and A Chosen summoned him to help them with a nest of vampires. The master vampire escaped but the clues led them to the town the other players were in.

As the players layed down connections and players introduced themselves in character one player asked “vampires huh? Wow, how do you really kill a vampire?” The new players looked at me waiting for answers.

Instead of answering I said “your the slayers, how did you kill that nest”. They both lit up and answered in-depth about what worked and what was just folklore in their experience. They went into detail. They thought it was so cool that they got to give that information and it’s now cannon.

I’ve run my fair share of mysteries, but ,lastly, I had difficulties with a specific situation.

I’ve run my fair share of mysteries, but ,lastly, I had difficulties with a specific situation.

A hunter tried to gather some intel about a victim. Where he lived, his habits , his acquaintances…

And the basic moves, like investigate a mystery, felt wrong.

The questions are linked to the creature, not the bystanders…

How do you handle this?

Act under pressure? Manipulate (if the hunter asks someone) ? A kind of act under pressure with sharp (if he googles it ^^). No rolls at all?

Thanks

May have posted this here a while back, anyway, the campaign has gotten to the point that it’s momentum doesn’t need…

Since I’m not using the plot-generation aspects of this pair of tables anymore. A while back last year I made a quick way to generate XCOM style operation names for use in an RPG context:
