Played monster of the week at the local store. Trying to teach new RPGs and so giving each rpg 4-6 weeks. Had 3 new players and two that had played before. They went up against a colony of todeswurm! Basically a zombie hivemind organism type thing with the added feature of worms bursting from eyes!

Player rolls kick some ass with a sniper rifle against a creature with only a claw attack but rolls a total of 7 how you you work the creature doing harm to player if there not in range ?
I have just had saved it as no damage dealt to player so now my players are all using ranged attacks to avoid taking harm
