Any word on a new release date for those two playbooks? The end of last month has come and gone.

I’m curious and looking to pass the time until release: what’s everyone’s favorite Playbook?

I’m curious and looking to pass the time until release: what’s everyone’s favorite Playbook? It surprised me to see which ones my players gravitated to versus the ones I love.

So we’ve started a game as wizards that were bitten and changed by vampires.

So we’ve started a game as wizards that were bitten and changed by vampires. Now that we have the Vampire Playbook, do we lose all of the abilities we gained as wizards (such as spells) and create new full vampire characters, or do previous playbook abilities still stay usable?

This might be a dumb question, but… where was The Angel actually mentioned as something that was happening?

Hi guys!

Hi guys!

Hi guys!

Is there any of you with a nifty idea how to keep track of Debts between players? I’m thinking about using tokens with names on them or something, but would seriously love to avoid having the players simply write down the Debts, as they are quite lazy and tend to forget stuff like that.

Tokens are visible, which emphasizes using them actively. 🙂

I would love to hear your ideas, thoughts and experiences.

Crazy idea I will likely never have the right group for: an Urban Shadows campaign, set in Japanese-occupied Shanghai. When your city is already a mix of Nazi spies, Imperial marines, White Russian mobsters, and wealthy vicehounds on vacation in the Paris of the Orient, the vampires and werewolves don’t seem nearly as monstrous. Espionage and crime meet Taoist immortals and reincarnated dragons in the neon-lit alleyways.

Hi guys!

I’m preparing for my first US session, and I’m well prepared. One thing bugs me though, and that’s the two Spectre Moves Manifest and Wall? What Wall?, as I think they contradict each other.

If the Spectre is not manifested, and thus intangible to the normal physical realm, why does he need an opening to Escape (as per the Wall? What Wall? move)? Couldn’t he just leave? Nothing can keep him in anyway.

Please share your ideas, thoughts and experience with these two Moves.

Hi all.

Hi all.

Hi all. I’ve a little problem with my group. We’re playing with a tainted, an hunter and a wizard. It seems that the players want to play in a traditional “party” way. So they tend to play between themselves instead of the usual “factions” way. As an example, they never “Hit the streets” and the main used faction move is “put a name to a face”, more as a way of easy advancement. I don’t feel like US is meant to be played like that.

Can be US played that way, or are they loosing the most important part of the game?
