So this happened in the middle of the main event at the show I went to last night. It was neat cuz the match itself was pretty serious, but did have some humor to it, and this put a break in the middle of it without killing the crowd. Also, the guy in the beanie is ACH, who I’ve been wanting to see for a long time and is very, very good.

(The MC is Sugar Dunkerton aka Suge D, who I first saw at the first Chikara show I ever went to and is just fun as hell to watch)

It’s worth going out of your way to listen to Stone Cold’s interview with Triple H (or watching it if you have the WWE Network).

Very specific stuff about the difficulties of booking when Kayfabe is dead, how improv and changing things on the fly is one of the beautiful things about wrestling, and what NXT is all about (and you can hear the obvious love Hunter has for NXT).

I mean, you never know what’s a work or whatever, but to my ear it’s pretty straight-up and really, really interesting.
