So a few weeks ago Rebecca Veverka shared their Editable Playbooks for easier online play. This sparked something in me to finally create the playbooks I wanted the way I wanted them. I revised the playbooks a little and added some extra things like art, drives, special luck trigger for each playbook, altered Harm tracker, and the additional fan/generic games playbooks I use. I wanted to share this as a last thank you to this community before it all goes dark.

re-introducing the Damned

Johnstone Metzger once gave me permission to convert his Heralds of Hell playbooks into legal-size format, and now he has given me permission to update the Heralds to 2nd edition. This is the fourth one, the Damned, with all new artwork provided by Mimi Mallah

When you leave a community online, roll+cool… On a miss, leave a sappy farewell message.

This is my last post on G+

I still have one final Heralds of Hell playbook to upload and I don’t know when the artwork will be done, if you want to know when future Apocalypse World playbooks get released you can subscribe to my blog – but if you want to avoid my non-AW posts then just subscribe to the Apocalypse World tag, here’s a convenient link: https://nerdwerds.blogspot.com/search/label/Apocalypse%20World

Thanks for being here on G+ with me, and us, and maybe I’ll see you around!

How about…a Masks RPG Zine?

How about…a Masks RPG Zine?

How about…a Masks RPG Zine?! After about three months of work, collaboration, working with fans, Magpie Games, and with the mods on the Discord Server, we’re SUPER HAPPY and very pleased to announce that the Kickstarter for The Fan Favorite: A Masks RPG Zine is LIVE!

We have fanart, one-shot modules, creative writing, new moves, new playbooks, and GM tips and articles! We are also paying all our contributors, which is…pretty rad.

We’re so proud of it and so pleased by the way that contributors have stepped up to the plate. Again, a big thank you to the people who contributed from this community, and more fun rewards, prizes, and special events to come!!!

Thanks everyone!

Yesterday’s Masks session saw the team sail off-world in a bone ship powered by uncomfortable truths, hoping to rescue an old-school supervillain (who could be a useful ally) from the clutches of the Rime Court. Plus, one of my players set a new bar for cosplay!

Sonia (The Soldier) stayed on mission and also blasted off an ice-dragon’s wing. Panic (The Doomed) sacrificed a tooth to a skeleton to get here, and accidentally stabbed Halfpenny (The Transformed) through the soul with a bone sword (he got better).

Torq (The Nova) cleverly avoided drinking liquid nostalgia at a Rime Court soiree with a careful application of gravity control inside his esophagus. General Bowmaster (The Legacy) put on a show to create a distraction, but got so into the role his fae mask wouldn’t come off.

In the end, the team reached the room where Baron Devastation was enthroned/imprisoned, only to see masses of Rime Court Hunters pouring in as well. To be continued…next weekend!
