One thing came up, Links. I have two players and both of them were involved in each other’s missions in the last step. I don’t know if they had a choice on the matter or not but that’s what they did. I am a bit uncertain if they have Links +1 or +2. Somehow I understood that it would be just +1 but I am not sure.

Can anyone let me know which one is correct?

As I am prepping the first mission I’d like to know how much detail you put into your NPCs?

As I am prepping the first mission I’d like to know how much detail you put into your NPCs? Especially about fixers who hire the PCs for the job but it applies to other important NPCs as well since PbtA doesn’t rely on game statistics for NPCs like more traditional RPGs.

I have been doing some “upstream research” by loaning Apocalypse World from my local library.

I have been doing some “upstream research” by loaning Apocalypse World from my local library. I knew the game was in the library and I decided to loan it because Hamish mentioned in another post about experience in that game. It really seems like it is good idea to read the Apocalypse World (I have not yet read it completely) if you are new to PbtA games like me.

This really helped me understand how Threat Clocks work by simply seeing couple of examples of those clocks. So, to make The Sprawl even more stand alone product I would suggest to add some visual examples of Threat clocks for example, if possible.

Does it break anything if I start with 2 players and we create a total of 3 corporations at first and later on there are more players that have to be tied to corporations and existing PCs? Or should the new players create new corporations and thus prevent corp clock getting too high all of a sudden?

Another question about corporations. Is there any mechanical reason not to create new corporations in the middle of the campaign? I don’t see why it should be a problem but if you see problems it would be nice to be prepared for those.

I have a question about Hit the Street move.

I have a question about Hit the Street move.

I have a question about Hit the Street move. If you get 7-9 and choose that your contact needs help, is it assumed that he needs the help now thus generating a sort of side quest in middle of the mission or can it be handled like a new mission after the current mission finishes?
