Here is a new chapter of #nahualrpg . After a hurricane ( #odilecabo  ) and a hard trip, I’m back in my home town now. I need to find a new job, but meanwhile I’ll keep working on this project, relying on my dear Patrons to have some income. #showmustgoon

My take on the #Ravenloft setting, Powered by the Apocalypse! Here I ramble on about my choice of stats.

Ok.

Ok.

Ok… despite being loaded with work to do for Nahualli RPG, I can’t shake out of my head the idea for a #PoweredbytheApocalypse version of the #Ravenloft setting. I’m very fond of this setting, and I believe the AW engine fits it very well. So I’ve made my decision and may be calling it Raven World! What do you think? (Damn, why can’t I just do one thing at a time!)

Hi everyone, an English question.

Hi everyone, an English question.

Hi everyone, an English question. In my PbtA game, I’m writing in Spanish first then translating to English (I’m Mexican). My version of the Hx stat is called “Vínculos” in Spanish, and I was translating it as Ties. But then, when writing moves, I just felt that it sounded weird (specially in singular), so I’m thinking in changing it to Bonds (like the DW version). At first I didn’t want to use Bonds because mine are not like the DW Bonds, and  wanted to avoid misconceptions. But now I think the word just fits and sounds better. What are your suggestions?

Hi, I’m creating a #poweredbytheapocalypse   rpg.

Hi, I’m creating a #poweredbytheapocalypse   rpg.

Hi, I’m creating a #poweredbytheapocalypse   rpg. And I’m working in a special move that’s kind of like stealing or cheating on someone. My stats and rules are a little bit different, but for the sake of asking your opinions guys I’ll translate them to regular AW.

The basic idea is dividing the move rules, depending if the victim is a NPC or a PC. If it is an NPC the player making the move roll+sharp, but if the victim is a PC the same player roll+Hx, but not his Hx towards the victim, but the victims Hx towards him, and the results are inverted like in the Harm move. You if you roll high, it means the victim caught you. What do you think? I’m also considering having the victim player making the roll instead.

Hey, I’m working in a #poweredbytheapocalypse game, and I’m working on the characters right now.

Hey, I’m working in a #poweredbytheapocalypse game, and I’m working on the characters right now. And since I’m adding some stuff particular to my setting, I’m thinking in using a more conventional way to present the character “concepts”, instead of the AW playbooks. What do you think about that? I’m thinking something more like WoD and D&D (as I said, more conventional ways). Being clear I’m talking only about presentation of the content.
