I finally get to take a break from GMing soon and my friend wants to run a sci-fi game which I would think using The Sprawl would obviously be pretty good for. Albeit, he does want to run it in space with a ship and stuff. Anybody have a lead on utilizing space ships and combat in AW?

I did check out Uncharted Worlds, but I think our group of friends prefer to have more defined roles in their games, rather than free form character creation.

The narrative game style has got me hooked and it looks like it’s the new gaming renaissance.

The narrative game style has got me hooked and it looks like it’s the new gaming renaissance. I just finished my first play through of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and have been simultaneously reading up on Blades in the Dark and revisiting my love of all things Sprawl related and have been endeavoring to write a hack for BitD with a cyberpunk flair.

I really want to thank Hamish Cameron for creating such a great product that has given me a fresh take on a genre I have loved for 13 years and hope that my own design work can come close to it.

If anybody’s interested, I have included it below. It’s an ongoing work-in-progress, obviously.

Another week, another scenario.

Another week, another scenario. Entitled, “Wanted: Dead Sister” this scenario sees the group of runners disappearing a corp accountant with a bit of a caveat.

Please enjoy!

This particular scenario was inspired from my love of the great tower assault premise you find in Die Hard, The Raid: Redemption, and Dredd.

As always, constructive criticism and player/MC feedback is always appreciated. I’ve been enjoying writing stuff for The Sprawl very much. The fact that PBTA games are, by design, meant to be open ended, makes it a lot easier to write for. It’s certainly helping me write for other games.

Hope you all enjoy it!

Alright, everybody, here’s the first (of hopefully many) free scenarios you can use for The Sprawl.

Here’s a question I always took for granted in a cyberpunk world…why the love for flechette guns?

Here’s a question I always took for granted in a cyberpunk world…why the love for flechette guns? I know they make a pretty iconic appearance in Neuromancer, but most flechette guns in cyberpunk style games are pretty lackluster when compared to their big brother ballistic weapons.

Challenging myself to write some more and I decided to try and post up a scenario a week for The Sprawl.

Quick question for Hamish Cameron , I was curious why you decided to make separating Harm roll reduction armor and straight armor? (Aka Armored clothing versus Body Armor.
