And here is the start of the templates to French. I still need to correct and align the wording. But I am pretty pleased with the result. I guess this is going to take me another 2 weeks to finish up, including the base moves.

So, I have a lot of content (Dragons, Places, Plots) from almost every game of Epy I’ve run.

So, I have a lot of content (Dragons, Places, Plots) from almost every game of Epy I’ve run. What stuff might I mine from those files and share with the community which could help others in their games?

Alternatively, would it be more useful to discuss the strategies I use to hang leading questions and kick-start worldbuilding at the table?

The material is presented more or less in the order that it would be useful during play, but there’s no other organization, so potential DMs should read it all the way through first.

I designed this adventure for a maximum of four players. The pregenerated dragon characters I gave out included the Academic, the Daredevil, the Seer, and the Warrior. I excluded the Crafter and the Nature Adepts since I didn’t think they’d have much to do in this scenario. I leveled up the characters to Winged Drakes to give them a little more breadth of ability, and because I wanted them to be able to fly all the way up to the summits of the Longtail Mountains on their own.

It’s a short adventure. I got through it in two hours pretty consistently. If you have more time, you can certainly let your players linger around some of the setting elements and try to resolve some of the other questions in the adventure outside the main mission. Do Thilda and Chelle ever make it to the capital? Does Krim recover his courage? Does Aeria ever break out of the prison of resentment that her ancestors built for her? Will the PCs ever get any more of that cake?

When you get up again, even when no one thought you could, roll +Courage.  On 10+ Choose three, on 7-9 Choose two, on a miss, choose two but you have aggravated your injuries – at the end of the scene you take one more wound, and any you shrugged off reopen.  If you do not fly through the valley of death today, gain a scar anyway.

— You shrug off a wound (May be chosen more than once)

— You take +1 Ongoing while you act in defiance of the Darkness

— You inspire an ally – they +1 Ongoing on a number of actions equal to the number of your gems they hold (May be chosen more than once)

When you give voice to the hope in your heart, roll +Charm.

On 10+, all who hear you take your words to heart, and are emboldened, receiving +1 Ongoing while acting on your words

On 7-9, only the listener from whom you hold the most gems receives the bonus (Your choice if there is a tie)

On a miss, your audience remains filled with doubt any listeners may return one gem to you to receive +1 Forward while acting on your words.

Thoughts?

When you attempt to  impart your wisdom on a group of younger dragons, roll +Charm

On a 10+, Choose two.

On a 7-9. Pick one.

* Your teaching is heeded immediately, or at least while you watch.

* Your lesson leaves an impression, but needs some time to sink in.

* Your advice is sound; taking it won’t cause immediate problems.

(I know we don’t usually specify  exact consequences for 6-, but I figured I’d leave these here as draft ideas that I feel could be incorporated more tightly in the above)

On a 6 or less, your wisdom is shown false, your efforts backfire, or you lose face to the youngsters.
