Legacy is finally with the printers – looking like we’ll get physical books by mid-April! I’m very excited to finally see it in physical form. This also means I can start preparing to sell the PDF on DriveThru, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
With the core book off my chest, I can now concentrate on the followup books. I’ve just sent backers new versions of Rhapsody of Blood and Worldfall – this has been a very well-timed couple of weeks to go on strike from work!

Is there a way to do inheritance for an NPC faction?
For example. Hook is out exploring with his buddies from the local scavenger tribe “The Scrappers”. Another player wants in on the action and decides to write up a quick character, taking on the role of Schrapnel, the lead scrapper on the expedition.
“The Scrappers” are an NPC faction, not a Family playbook, and therefore have no inheritance. So what happens here?
One of the tool up surplus options is to add a quality level to a group of followers.
One of the tool up surplus options is to add a quality level to a group of followers. Could a player add a quality level to a group of Quality 0, creating a new group of temporary followers for a scene? Or is it reserved only for existing followers?

The term was originally coined by Poul Anderson in 1983. It refers to a dark age that comes after the collapse of an interstellar empire. Colonized worlds that do not have the technological or industrial base to be self-sustaining without help from the extra-solar empire suddenly find themselves devolving to an agrarian society to survive, with only a few pockets of advanced technology left. Contact may not be made with other worlds for millennia, so the memories of the empire and their tech eventually take on an almost mythical quality.
