So, after last nights royal rumble/eton mess/bull of the ring match i got thinking, there isnt a wide variety of ways to build positive heat with people in the system beyond promos.

Both the Heel and the Face move allow you to build heat with a opponent, but there are few ways to build heat with friends so it means really you only have a chance to form dedicated tag teams with your enemies, which doesn’t seem right.

Personally i’d want to change the Face move to allow you to build heat with the people you are helping/standing up for, for instance, but beyond that, i’m not sure i have a solution for this.

Equally, the manager has ways to gaining heat with their client, but there doesn’t seem to be many ways to have the client gain heat with the manager.

anybody have any thoughts?

– Do the over move giving wrestler +2 momentum

– Reset promotion audience

– Calculate wrestler’s momentum based on newly reset audience

– Does the ‘over’ wrestler get momentum based on the reset audience level as well? I’m guessing not.

Starting to get excited.

Starting to get excited.

“Wrestlemania” week starts tomorrow.

I’m not even that excited about Wrestlemania. I’m not seeing it live, though I do live about 30-40 minutes from the location.

HOWEVER.

I AM seeing TWELVE shows live over the next five days.

Tomorrow, Wed 3/29, 8pm – “Punk Goes Wrestling, Vol 1”, the inaugural show of PUNK PRO WRESTLING. Really excited about this one. I’ve seen about half the wrestlers before, heard of most of the rest, but there’s a couple who are complete unknowns to me, so that’s fun, too.

The rest of my Wrestlemania week is the WWN Live “More Than Mania” package.

Thursday, 8pm – EVOLVE 80

Friday, noon – PROGRESS Wrestling (their US debut) “Progress Orlando”

Friday, 4pm – EVOLVE 81

Friday, 8pm – CHIKARA “Turn Left”

Friday, 11:59pm – Kaiju Big Battel “Civil Wars”

Saturday, noon – SHIMMER 91

Saturday, 4pm – CHIKARA “Bad Wolf”

Saturday, 8pm – “WWN Live Supershow: Mercury Rising: EVOLVE vs PROGRESS”

Saturday, 11:59pm – Beyond Wrestling “Caffeine”

Sunday, 10am-6pm The Hardy #BROKENTailgate Party

BBQ food, two wrestling shows, and “other surprises”

11am – American Combat Wrestling

2pm – Full Impact Pro

The list of wrestlers that I’ll get to see live for the first time is super long. This will be the first time I’ll see SHIMMER, Kaiju, Beyond, ACW and (obviously) Punk Pro and Progress live. I’ve seen 3 EVOLVE shows live, 5 or 6 Full Impact Pro, and 2 CHIKARA shows before.

Under the bright lights in stadiums and arenas across the world, in front of the roaring masses and the unblinking eyes of national television, the superstars of wrestling hold court. The likes of Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Jake ‘the Snake” Roberts and Ted DiBiase reign supreme. These men are kings.

A king you are not.

In cramped school gymnasiums, muggy community centers and backlot venues you put in the work. The real work. This is the grind. The lights aren’t as bright. The crowds aren’t as loud. The checks – don’t always clear. But to a man, the hunger is real. Grab a mic. Step into the square circle. Put on a show for those damn kids. And you too can have a taste of the life of those superstars a world away.

Two-hour sessions, Friday night at 9pm EST for three consecutive weeks. Playing via Roll20 with Hangouts for comms Stories & Dice community members have first priority., so come check us out. Everyone is welcome.

On the drive thru RPG page, do I need both the role deck and the move deck, or just the move deck?

I’m just wondering if there’s anything unique to the role deck.

Thanks!

Does it make since that the Manager gimmick can use the Run-In move especially sense they have Meal Ticket?

How do you handle the Manager gimmick with Run-In, Meal Ticket and the Heel moves?

My group was having a blast playing WWW until we added a player who chose the Manager gimmick and he just started ending matches that other players were in – even matches that the wrestlers he managed weren’t participating in.

I realize I might be missing something so please let me know what I’m possibly doing wrong.

Thanks.
