Visualizing a hack
This is for pentesting (penetration testing) but might help your hackers better describe the stages of their infiltration.

I’m going to be running The Sprawl for some new people soon(3 to be exact). We’re going to be doing a one shot type thing.
I wanted thoughts on ways I can save time with out fully removing the improv elements. So basically I want to leave a few less unanswered questions at the begining of play. Like prehaps I’ll stat up 2 of the corps.
Any other suggestions?
Hey guys!
Hey guys!
How do you deal with the Getting Paid portion of a job when it comes to the team ‘scouting ahead’.
I, as the MC, do not know in advance wether or not the meet will be a setup or ambush, so if they players try to find this out beforehand by sending in drones, hacking into security systems etc. what should I give them?
Up ’till now I’ve always simply told them what the initial meeting would look like, what sort of escape routes or possible entryways for bad guys could be etc.
I guess in a similair vein, do you MCs tend to let players roll for Get The Job the moment that conversation starts, or only AFTER they’ve received a briefing on the objective and agreed to do it?
Thanks!
My hardback midnight showed up today!
My hardback midnight showed up today! It looks so good. I ordered soon after the codes showed up in my email. Located in Pittsburgh PA, USA. The softcover shipped two days later hopefully I’ll get that tomorrow!

Hi! I’m new to The Sprawl (and to pbta games) and I have a couple of questions:
Could someone point me in the direction of a good pbta games FAQ?
Is there a The Sprawl FAQ somewhere?
Is there any kind of translation into Spanish? (Either official or not. Especially for the names of the moves)
Edit: I almost forgot! Where can I download the character sheets and MC sheets?
Thanks in advance! Love this game!
Wow, The Sprawl is really moving on up at DriveThruRPG at this time.

Under the category Hottest Small Press, the Noon edition has moved on to #2. The Midnight edition for some reason is only up to #11. Maybe it’s some quirk like people’s .pdf orders are counted more under one than under another, though “midnight” and printable white versions are both given out as .pdf’s.
In the overall listing I think I saw it go as high as #8, correct me if I’m wrong, but this is not unusual for ANYTHING new to surge in sales compared to older offerings.
This is great, it’s like a kind of Billboard top music album thing or Top of the Pops or whatever the sales rating system is in your country.
Hi
Hi,
I haven’t been able to find any summary with moves, playsheets, agenda, weapons, etc. Is there an official source for that? Does it comes with the book at DTRPG?
This may be semantics but the Drone section under armed says “Armed: a weapon can be mounted on the drone.
This may be semantics but the Drone section under armed says “Armed: a weapon can be mounted on the drone. The weapon’s size is determined by the size of the frame.” Does that mean the drone comes with a weapon or the drone has the potential to have a weapon on it?

I just received my soft-cover midnight edition of The Sprawl. Since apparently not many have received it yet, I though I’d share some photos (sorry for the low quality).
The Sprawl went platinum on DTRPG last night.

This seems like an appropriate time as any to thank all of you for your support, many of you from very early in the process, and many more through the KS and post-KS development. The knowledge and enthusiasm of this community is a major part of the game’s success.
Thank you all!
